We know we aren’t the only ones who miss the old Kanye

“Oh, when it all, it all falls down.”

A ten-minute rant in the West Wing. The constant MAGA hat. “Slavery was a choice.”

Lately, Kanye West’s whole life seems like a long, drawn out monologue that doesn’t really make sense to the rest of us. His rant in front of President Donald Trump Thursday immediately brought reactions from political commentators on every major news network. It’s just tew much. We give. Kanye, we now are clinching to your ghost.

Well, we aren’t the only ones. We’re not the only ones that miss College Dropout Kanye, that miss Kanye-isms like “How, Sway?”

We can now gather and mourn the Kanye we all revered on Sunday morning. That’s when The Munch Factory is hosting “I Miss The Old Kanye: An In Remembrance Brunch,” where you can enjoy Chef Jordan Ruiz’s biscuits and gravy in the ambiance of the Kanye we all knew and loved.

According to the Facebook event, the restaurant where Beyonce and Jay-Z ate last time they were in town will be “playing all Pre-Trump Kanye and Kanye instrumentals while you enjoy brunch favorites like Crab Cake Benedicts and biscuits and gravy… Come enjoy some great Creole brunch food and a better Kanye from yesteryear.”

And, to throw in some extra NOLA flair, there are free mimosas for anybody wearing a Drew Brees jersey in honor of the record the Saints quarterback set on Monday night for most passing yards of all time.
