Tri for a Cure 2024: Stream live race coverage on Very Local
This year marks the 17th year for Tri for a Cure, an annual triathlon that has become one of the largest in the state of Maine. Over 1,300 women will participate in the race, which includes a 1/3-mile swim, a 15-mile bike ride, and a 3-mile run. The course runs along Cape Elizabeth and South Portland.
Since the first race in 2008, Tri for a Cure has raised over $20 million for Maine Cancer Foundation. All of the money raised has stayed in the state of Maine.
Due to some weather damage, the course has been adjusted, and there is less space for spectators. You can stream live race coverage from WMTW on the Very Local app.
