WILDFLOWER FARMS ORLANDO

Orlando, FL 32807

Wildflower Farms is a hidden gem! It’s off the beaten path past downtown Orlando, minutes away from the hustle and bustle, but located perfectly tucked away. It is a farm with baby goats, but also has so much more to offer including baby goat yoga in Orlando.

Here’s how it starts:

We call out to the baby goats to let them know it is feeding time. Each person gets handed a bottle of goat milk from their mamas for setting up when we choose our spot for yoga. They come out of the gates running. They each had their names and collar tags along with their cuteness. After bottle feeding, we began our yoga. Some babies were so tiny and just learning to jump on us. Some were just a bit bigger and showed the others how it works. It is therapeutic. After our yoga session, we got to stay on the farm to visit the baby goats, family goats, pigs and other animals.

Wildflower Farms is a family-owned business, and it gives you that genuine feeling of home and a calm and relaxing experience as you visit. We enjoyed the entire morning of meeting the babies, feeding them, photographing and playing with them, and then adding yoga to the mix makes it better. If you haven’t given it a try, why not? It’s easy to sign up, and the Baby Goat Yoga classes in Orlando are Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 9 a.m.

Wildflower Farm also offers Fables on the Farm, for the younger children, and this time is for reading stories to your kiddos while playing with the baby goats. It’s perfect for everyone and highly recommended.

On Fridays, the farm offers Party in the Pasture, where you can relax with your friends after a long hard work week and hang with the party animals. For adults, this is your chance to be a kid again. On Saturday or Wednesday evenings, they offer the Family on the Farm experience, which is something for everyone to give you the farm therapy you need to get through your week.

BABY GOAT YOGA AT ALASKA FARMS

9650 Berry Dease Road
Orlando, FL 32825
https://alaskafarms.co

Alaska Farms started as a way to bring families together. Not just for us humans, but for the animals, too. It is a great experience with children. Most yoga experiences can be by yourself or with friends, but at Alaska Farms, you can take the kids to experience a different perspective on this new form of yoga.

Upon arrival, take off your shoes and head into the area where the goats are and yoga mats placed. Then my kids and I stepped inside for a meet-and-greet with the baby goats before the actual yoga began. The matching blue yoga mats are included in the ticket price of $30, so there is no need to worry about bringing extra yoga mats for the children or yourself.

The kids will love sitting criss-cross applesauce and watching it all take place as they reach out to pet each baby goat that crossed their path. You can laugh while baby goats nibble on your cotton shirt and giggle about that while trying to do some of the poses with goats on your back. They also have horses at Alaska Farms and other animals to see while you’re there.
