Tab Benoit, Amanda Shaw headline 2019 Bayou Boogaloo

by Mary Staes | March 13, 2019

Blues guitarist Tab Benoit and violinist Amanda Shaw are headlining the 2019 Bayou Boogaloo Festival, taking place May 17-19.

Benoit will hit the stage solo and with his popular Police cover band, The Fuzz.

Also performing at the Boogaloo will be Grammy winner Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, Cowboy Mouth, Little Freddie King and Erica Falls.

The festival is entering its 14th year. Last year, the first day was brought to a halt when a storm blew through the area, twisting tents and stages. Workers brought the site back to life Saturday and Sunday for the remainder of the festival.
