Summer is officially ½ way over, and it’s a HOT one! We’re here to bring you all the unforgettable ways to spend your last days in Central Florida before Fall begins. Check out the coolest summer events in Orlando. Here are all the events and things to do in Orlando before you say goodbye to summer.

Things to do in Orlando this Summer

Orlando International Film Festival
Saturday, July 9th –  Friday, July 15th
8:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Orange County Convention Center in Orlando at 7081 Grand National Drive, Suite 105
This is your opportunity to see films from all over the world with 300 submissions from 40 countries. There will also be panels, workshops, and seminars. A one-day pass is $35.

Summer Vegan Festival at Lake Eola
Saturday, July 23rd
11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Orlando Shakes at 812 E Rollins Street
It’s a summer celebration with over 25 vegan vendors including food, drinks, and more! All family-friendly and FREE.


Orlando Shakes presents Beauty and the Beast
Now until July 24
Orlando Shakes at 812 E Rollins Street
Set in an enchanted castle in a far away land, Beauty and the Beast spins a tale where a young beauty is locked away with a terrible beast. Ticket prices vary starting at $12.

Leaf it! at Leu Gardens
Now until July 31
12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Harry P. Leu Gardens
During the months of June and July, a special LEAF scavenger hunt will take place, and you have to find them! It’s easy – grab a map, and a small pencil at the front desk, and off you go! It’s all included in garden admission: $15 for adults and $10 for children 4-17.

The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience
Now until August 10
5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.

The Oliv Bar at 745 N. Magnolia Ave.
An immersive cocktail adventure! Come along on a 90-minute journey into the magical realm of Wonderland. You will create two Wonderland cocktails, solve riddles and challenges just like Alice had to, devour some cake, paint roses red and much more! Limited tickets are available now for $43.

407 Food Fair

Wine not?! It’s Wednesday and we’re ready to hang at The Yardery for $20, which includes unlimited samplings of selected wines, and made from scratch Flatbreads that are SO delicious!

Tasty Takeover in The Milk District
Every Tuesday until September

It’s the raddest food truck block party in Orlando! Find it in The Milk District every Tuesday night behind the bars and shops of E. Robinson St. with FREE Admission.


Fables on the Farm at Wildflower Farm Orlando
Every Wednesday until September

Wildflower Farm Orlando at 2218 Carrington Drive

Join the baby goats at Wildflower Farms in Orlando every Wednesday for Fables on the Farm. Fables on the Farm is a children’s fun time where they will read a children’s book in the pasture pavilion while the baby goats join us for a meet and greet. Admission is $12.50 per person.

Fridays on the Plaza Concert in Winter Garden
Every Friday from now until September

Bionic Me Exhibit at The Orlando Science Center

Explore the ingenious technology changing the human experience for us all at the Orlando Science Center! The new exhibit Bionic Me, now open until September for only $24 for adults. Children ages 2-11 with ticket prices for $18 and FREE for Children under 2.

Family Sunset at Central Florida Zoo
July 22, August 26, and September 23
5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The Zoo reopens at 5 p.m. and comes alive with all sorts of fun! Family Sunset features music at the Splash Ground, inflatable games, and some of your favorite animals along the shaded boardwalks. Tickets are $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person when purchased that day.

Art After Dark
Saturday, August 13, 7 p.m.
CityArts at 39 S. Magnolia Avenue

Art After Dark is the Downtown Orlando Arts District’s semi-formal soiree for young professionals to introduce young professionals (or the “young at heart”) to the Arts District. Interactive art experiences, live music, photo opportunities, craft cocktails, and gourmet lite bites from local restaurants with tickets starting at $50.

Bar Crawl Live
Saturday, August 13, 2 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Bar Crawl LIVE transformed the traditional pub crawl with innovative technology. Expect nothing but endless fun as Bar Crawl LIVE has the hottest local DJs, while enjoying ALL-DAY drink & food specials at more than five local bars with tickets starting at $12.
