‘Rust’ Movie Shooting: Watch Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed’s Trial on Very Local
Hannah Guiterrez-Reed, the weapons supervisor for the movie “Rust,” is being tried on charges of involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The jury members, most from the Santa Fe area, were sworn in on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The trial began on Thursday morning, and live coverage of the trial from Albuquerque news station is available on the Very Local app.
The trial for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is expected to run through March 6..
Actor Alec Baldwin has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of involuntary manslaughter. Balwin’s trial will be held at a later date.
