Guide to Bottomless Brunch in Pittsburgh: All the places for all the mimosas

‘Brunch without champagne is just a sad breakfast’: A guide to all of the places to find bottomless brunch in Pittsburgh.

by Lainne Bacharach | November 1, 2019

Brunch is the meal that people love or love to hate. The hosts of the Dinner Party Download podcast dislike this morning meal so much that they named their book “Brunch is Hell: How to Save the World By Throwing a Dinner Party.”

The popularity of brunch has been growing and brunch isn’t going away any time soon; If you are interested in the brunch culture of Washington, D.C., this Washington Post story offers some surprising details about brunch culture in D.C. Pittsburgh doesn’t quite have the brunch scene of D.C., New York or Portland. To brunch or not to brunch — that is a question you’ll have to answer for yourself.

Guide to Bottomless Brunch in Pittsburgh

If you do choose to brunch, here are all the places you can find a bottomless brunch in Pittsburgh

NPL Lawrenceville not only has Bottomless Mimosas on their brunch menu, but they also have Bottomless Bloody Marys. For $13, you can have an unlimited number of either breakfast cocktail unlimitedly from 10 am until 2 pm. The food menu is large including both classic brunch items and some unique options. If you are looking for a good time and a long time make your way to NPL’s brunch.

Spirit // Lawrenceville

Website

Brunch hours:

  • Saturday 11 am – 3 pm
  • Sunday 11 am – 3 pm

Going a little rogue with this one, but hear us out. Spirit has a brunch buffet on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am until 3 pm. For $15 per person, you get a buffet of “bottomless” foods, such as buttermilk biscuits with gravy, bacon, curried potatoes, zucchini fritters, yogurt, granola, and pizza. Bottomless pizza! Yes, pizza is non-alcoholic, but some (most) people may argue it’s just as necessary as alcohol on Sunday mornings.

Local Bar and Grill // Southside

Website

Brunch hours:

  • Saturday 11 am – 3 pm
  • Sunday 11 am – 3 pm

Local Bar and Grill on Carson St. in the Southside technically doesn’t have bottomless mimosa on Sundays. But a carafe of mimosa for $12 or two for $20 might as well be bottomless.

This won’t be a chill brunch by any means, Local tends to get a little wild during brunch hours. It’s a great spot for big groups and out of town guests.

The Yard // Shadyside, Market Square, Mount Lebanon & North Fayette

Website

Brunch hours:

  • Saturday 11 am – 4 pm
  • Sunday 11 am – 4 pm

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvrWnkQAMbW/

On Saturdays and Sundays, “Basically Bottomless Brunch” is offered at all four of The Yard locations. It is “basically” bottomless because there is a limit of 15 Mimosas or Bloody Marys per person. The almost bottomless mimosa at the Yard is $15, the bloody mary is $18. The brunch menu has unique comfort food items, that don’t lack in cheese or tater tots.

Revel & Roost // Downtown

Website

Brunch hours:

  • Saturday 7 am – 2 pm
  • Sunday 7 am – 3 pm

Need an early start to brunch? Revel & Roost is the place to go if you need to start drinking bloody marys before 8 am. The bottomless Revel Mary is $14. The brunch menu offers a range of food items and the food here is pretty good and reasonably priced for a restaurant that is attached to a hotel.
