Kindly excuse us if this photo roundup causes a (slight) case of FOMO. But for real – this past Saturday was a memorable one.
Our friends in Millvale (Mr. Smalls) hosted Pittsburgh’s Very Own, a collaborative performance showcasing the talents of four Pittsburgh-based artists whom we think everyone should get to know.
The lineup included:
- Mars Jackson
- Benji.
- Isaiah Small
- Clara Kent
The palpably electric crowd packed the house for this special night.
We worked with Justin Boyd to bring Very Local a set of still frames that captured the raw emotion and beauty found in a collaborative Pittsburgh show.
Continue scrolling below for more snippets from the show.
For folks unfamiliar, Isaiah Small brings a hybrid of talents into his catchy melodies.
He pulls inspiration from several disciplines including piano, cello, percussion, bass and a selection of woodwind instruments.
Benji’s first performance of 2019.
Benji getting a strong response from the Mr Smalls crowd.
Benji’s full-length album ‘Smile You’re Alive’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
Mars Jackson’s ‘Good Days Never Last Forever‘ is also available to be streamed wherever you consume your jams.
Fun Fact: Mars Jackson and Benji are both signed to the same record label. And…surprise! It’s Pittsburgh’s own Misra Records.
Oh, and if that wasn’t enough. Here’s a few of our faves from the gram.

Much love to Justin Boyd for his work behind the lens. And shoutout to everyone who attended on Saturday.
We’re feeling the Pittsburgh love.
