by Lindsay Patross | April 25, 2019

It is the last week of April and spring is in full swing. Here at Very Local Pittsburgh, we are eager to help you explore this fine city. We have been focusing our efforts on stories that will hopefully inspire you to cross a river and check out a new-to-you neighborhood. ICYMI, check out our latest video on Pittsburgh’s crossing guards. Meet the Pittsburghers who are helping to make it safer to cross the streets every day.

SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, May 18 is our next event. Fries and shine for an amazing brunch with Pittsburgh Sandwich Society. Tickets for brunch and a beverage are just $10; be sure to buy your ticket ASAP.

TALKING TRANSIT: We hopped on the bus for Rep. Innamorato’s mobile Transit Town Hall. Check out our recap of this community meeting on a moving bus.
