A History of the Valhalla Golf Course
Very Local affiliate, WLKY, has created a new special to introduce golf fans to the Valhalla Golf Course where the 2024 PGA Championships are being held.
Meet the new owners of the Valhalla Golf Club and learn more about how the course is part of the Louisville, Kentucky, community. The Valhalla golf course is uniquely Kentucky and one of the premier courses in the country.
In 2022, the course was purchased by a group of local businessmen. The ownership group of Valhalla is:
- David Novak, co-founder and former CEO of YUM! Brands
- Jimmy Kirchdorfer, CEO of a ISCO
- Junior Bridgeman, owner of Ebony & Jet Magazines
- Chester Musselman, founder Musselman Hotels
