Maker Nation Challenge is a competition-style series, where “Maker Nation” host Ashley Adams will go across the country and find talented artists to challenge them in creating their best work within four hours, winning money toward their profession. Final work will be judged by Adams along with local influencers, experts, and a few familiar faces from “Maker Nation.” From glass blowing, special effects makeup and metalsmithing to printmaking, costuming, and tattoos – Maker Nation Challenge will task any artform to find out who is the best at celebrating their local city through art.
Meet the Host: Ashley Adams
Born and raised in Texas, Ashley Adams is best known for serving as co-host of YouTube show, Feast of Fiction where she creates homemade recipes inspired by books, movies, comics and more. Having amassed a following of 1.3M on YouTube, Adams is a self-taught baker and DIY extraordinaire. She now serves as host of the Very Local original series, Maker Nation Challenge and is shining a light on artists and makers across the country. When not crafting or cooking, Ashley can be found spending time at home with her children and husband.
