Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum

George Barber started a collection of cars in the 60s. Then, in the 90s, Barber sold his car collection and began collecting motorcycles. As a result, Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum holds a Guinness World Record for the largest collection of motorcycles in the world at 1800 motorcycles! The museum also boasts an 800-acre park and a 2.3-mile road course that you can test drive at the museum’s Porsche driving school.

Rickwood Field

Rickwood Field is America’s oldest baseball park. Built-in 1910, it served as the home park for the Birmingham Barons and the Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro leagues. Over 130 hall-of-famers have played here, including Babe Ruth, Willie Maes, and Ty Cobb. The mini-museum at the field is packed with baseball memorabilia and artifacts. 

Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

Civil Rights is an American story, and Birmingham Civil Rights Institute tells it beautifully with its immersive experience. You will experience what life was like in the 1960s and how important the Civil Rights movement was for all Americans. Experience the difference in classrooms, public transportation, church, and more in the Barriers Gallery. The story here is one of growth and revolution. 

Marty’s PM

Located in the Five Points District of Birmingham, Marty’s PM has been a local favorite for cold drinks, food, and live music since 1993. This late-night destination serves food until 5 a.m., seven-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year and the place to be after a long night of partying.
