by Clint Durrett | August 8, 2018

We know how it goes. You’re waiting until the last minute to run out and get clad in red. You’re not alone. Stores have been pushing red dresses for at least a month now. And if you’re waiting until this week, it’s time to get very creative or get hustling to the shops.

But you’re busy. We get it.

Allow us to make calls for you to make poppin’ tags easier.
(Disclaimer: We made the calls on 8/7/2018. Shop at your own risk!)

Now quick, Robin! To the thrift shops!

And if you are out of luck, there is an easy way around this: Channel ancient Greece and make a toga. Seriously. It’s a Saturday in the blazing sun in the middle of a New Orleans summer. It’s about participation and staying cool. It’s not out of the question to run out to a fabric store and get hooked up with enough cloth to make a toga. Add a belt and a glamorous broach and work it.
