It’s getting to be that time of year again. You know, the time that we looked at earlier in the year and said “Yeah, it will be reasonably chilly by then” before booking our permits for an outdoor festival. It never turns out that way but for 300 years we’ve just kept right on hoping. That’s beautiful in its own way.

Charli XCX’s Femmebot Fantasy

Chari XCX came to most folks ears via a world-dominating pop single. And she’s still got that spirit in a lot of her music, though she’s twisted it to stranger ends.
