Krewe of Krampus Found The Naughty Kids — They’re In The Bywater

by Clint Durrett | December 2, 2018

On the first night of December, Krampus, the goat-like beast who travels with Saint Nick, wasted no time in finding the naughty children of New Orleans. They were in the Bywater.

We’re sure there are more naughty folks around town, but the fun and frightening stroll through the Bywater must have been the demon’s first stop.

The tale goes that during Christmas season, Krampus punishes children who have misbehaved.

And standing among my fellow shenanigan-creating pals of the Bywater, I can attest to the misbehaving.

The parade lasted about nearly 7 minutes. We streamed it live on our Facebook page. Watch the parade below — from a safe distance.
