Years ago, the owners of Harris Grill brought bacon night to the ‘burgh. Every Tuesday night, you can find baskets of bacon on the bar.
Tuesday is/was Bacon Night
Bacon night continues at both the Harris Grill on Fourth Avenue. Bacon night has been happening every Tuesday since at least 2005, long before we had Instagram to document baskets of bacon. Before the pandemic, bacon night was every Tuesday, from 6:30 pm – 10 pm.
Bacon night may be on hold, but bacon roses are still a thing. For the 2nd year in a row, the Harris Grill is selling a dozen bacon roses for Valentine’s Day.

The cost: bacon roses vs. real roses
Because we were curious, we did a little research. It turns out that a dozen red roses from 1-800-flowers also costs $39.99. If you are looking for a little more bouquet for your buck, you can order 50 roses from Costco for $49.99 – which is $10 more than Costco’s non-Valentine’s day price.
