Cinemark Theaters offers private watch parties starting at $99. You can pick from a list of new and old movies to watch in your own private theater with your Valentine. The private room allows you to invite up to 20 people, so you can bring some friends along, too!
Penn Hills Cinemas offers private movie screens for a bunch of great titles for $25 – $50. Check the Penn Hills Cinemas Facebook page (they don’t have a website) for updates.
Milkshake factory
Pre-order chocolate-covered strawberries for pick up from the Milkshake Factory in the South Side, along with their boxes of chocolate for you and your Valentine to share. While you’re there to pick up your order, grab yourself a chocolate-dipped strawberry to start celebrating early. Be sure to place your strawberry order before 8 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Valentine’s Day menu @ The Grand Concourse
The Grand Concourse is offering a Valentine’s Day menu for you and your sweetheart whether you prefer to go on a socially distanced date, or take food back to your place. Their Valentine’s Day menu will be available from Feb. 12-14 and includes a three-course meal with options of Salmon, Prime Rib and Surf & Turf.
Chicken is the new chocolate @ Chick-fil-A
If you and your Valentine are looking for more of a lowkey date night, go to the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A for a heart-shaped tray of chicken nuggets! Although they will not be open on Feb. 14, Chick-fil-A will have special items on their menu that will be packaged just for Valentine’s Day!

Take your dog to a Valentine’s Day photoshoot
Is your dog your Valentine this year? Take your fluffy friend to The Dog Stop on the East End now through Feb. 14 for a Valentine’s Day themed photoshoot. They will have a Valentine’s Day themed backdrop and props along with supplies to make a holiday card from your dog. This will be a great memory for you and your pet to have for years to come!
Takeout from Casbah
Casbah in Shadyside has created a menu just for you and your Valentine. Either dine-in or takeout the weekend of Valentine’s Day with their delicious filets and romantic chocolate dessert. Casbah is offering brunch, a tasting menu and a take and bake option. If you choose the take & bake option, your meal will be sent home with you cold along with heating instructions.
